Let’s Talk
Agriculture remains an important part of livelihoods, communities and economic opportunities. Technology can help farmers, young people and communities access information, improve decision-making and explore new opportunities across the agricultural value chain. TEGE promotes Agri-Technology as a way of connecting digital knowledge, innovation and agriculture.
Through education, digital tools, innovation and community engagement, TEGE seeks to support practical learning around modern agricultural practices and the responsible use of technology. The focus is on making technology understandable, useful and relevant to the people and communities who depend on agriculture.
TEGE also recognizes the role young people can play in transforming agriculture through technology, creativity and entrepreneurship. By connecting digital skills with agricultural opportunities, young people can explore new ways of creating value, sharing information and contributing to sustainable food systems and rural development.
Technology can support agriculture at different stages, from accessing useful information and understanding market opportunities to improving communication, planning and knowledge sharing. TEGE promotes learning approaches that help young people, farmers and communities understand how digital tools can be applied to real agricultural challenges.
